Florence Fire/EMS Team offering CPR training

Time is essential for someone in sudden cardiac arrest.  The American Safety and Health Institute found when a victim is pulseless, his/her chance of survival decreases 10% per minute.  Having the capability to perform CPR on a victim could mean the difference between life and death.  If you are interested in gaining this lifesaving skill, Florence Fire/EMS is offering a CPR certification class that is open to members of the community.
