Public Education

The key to preventing fires, as well as injuries, is through education.  Florence Fire/EMS conducts numerous Public Education events throughout the year in an effort to not only reduce the occurrence of fires, but to also decrease injuries to the citizens we protect.

Annually, Florence Fire/EMS  programs result in contact with approximately 4,000 citizens.  Nearly two thirds of which are the children in our schools and daycares.
