Spread Holiday Cheer – Join the City of Florence Holiday Card Contest!

The City of Florence is excited to announce its Holiday Card Contest for students in grades K-8! Here’s your chance to share your creativity and holiday spirit with our local senior community.
Students are invited to design original holiday cards that will be delivered personally by Mayor Aubuchon to Florence senior living homes. Selected winners will be recognized at the Florence Tree Lighting Celebration on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, 5:00 – 7:00 PM.
Prizes & Recognition:
- Winners in grade brackets K-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-8
- Mayor’s Choice Overall Award
- Public recognition during the Tree Lighting Celebration
Guidelines:
- Celebrate winter holidays, positivity, and kindness.
- Handmade, original artwork only.
- Size: 5”x7” or 8.5”x5.5” recommended.
- Materials: paper, crayons, markers, pencils, pens. Avoid glitter.
- Sign name and grade; include teacher and school info on the back.
Submission Details:
- Submit your card November 3–17, 2025 at the Florence Government Center, Administration Department, 8100 Ewing Blvd, Florence, KY
- Late entries accepted until December 12 for delivery to seniors, but they will not be judged.
- No envelopes needed; bundle multiple cards if submitting as a group.
