Annual Veterans Day Program & Honor Run Half Marathon

The City of Florence recognizes and expresses gratitude to all the men and women who have served in the armed forces for their commitment to our country. The City of Florence Veterans Day program welcomes everyone as they honor veterans and take this day to pause and reflect on their service, dedication and unfailing devotion to keeping us safe at all times. The City of Florence will honor all veterans at their Annual Veterans Day Program on Veterans Day, Sunday, November 13, 2022. The program will be held in the Community Rooms of the Florence Government Center. Attendees will enjoy a performance by the Florence Community Band and Chorus, guest speakers, and refreshments following the program.
Additionally, Veterans Day Weekend also hosts The St. Elizabeth Healthcare Honor Run Half Marathon, Honor Run Half Marathon 10K presented by Medpace, and Honor Run Half Marathon 5K by Medpace, which will be held on Veterans Day Sunday, November 13, 2022. The 13.1 mile St. Elizabeth Honor Run Half Marathon begins at 7:00 a.m. The 10K and 5K Run/Walk presented by Medpace will start at 7:45 a.m. All events start and finish under the Florence Y’all Water Tower at Florence Mall in Florence, Kentucky.
