Citizen Interest and Volunteer Opportunities

Did you know….Mayor Aubuchon was one of the founders of the Boone County Citizen Corp programs in 2002. CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) programs are just one part of that program and have been conducted ever since by Boone County Emergency Management.  Another program under the Citizen Corp umbrella is Volunteers in Policing which the Florence Police Department has maintained for over 20 years. Citizen participation is a vital aspect of good government.
