City of Florence Veterans Resource Fair - October 19, 2024

10/08/2024

The City of Florence Veterans Commission, in partnership with Warriors Journey Home and Florence Christian Church, is proud to host a Veterans Resource Fair on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Florence Government Center, 8100 Ewing Blvd., Florence, Kentucky 41042. This free event is open to veterans, active-duty military members, and their families, providing them with valuable resources and information.

The Veterans Resource Fair will feature a wide range of vendor booths offering support services tailored to the needs of veterans and their loved ones. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from organizations such as Purepost and Warriors Journey Home, who will provide insightful presentations throughout the event.

Additionally, the powerful documentary Here.Is.Better will be shown twice during the day. The film offers an in-depth look into the lives of veterans dealing with the challenges of PTSD and mental health. Following the film, attendees will be invited to engage in panel discussions where they can learn more about veteran-focused programs and services, share their experiences, and ask questions of the experts.

The City of Florence Veterans Commission is honored to organize this resource fair to give back to the brave men and women who have served our country.

We encourage all veterans, active-duty members and their families to attend this event, explore the resources available, and participate in the important discussions that will take place.
