Florence to Host Annual Book & Literacy Festival Featuring Keynote Authors and Free Family Fun

The City of Florence is proud to announce the return of the Book & Literacy Festival, an annual celebration of books, stories, and community. This year’s festival will feature two distinct programs at the Florence Nature Park Event Center, 7200 Nature Park Drive, Florence, Kentucky.
Books & Bottles Evening Program (February 28)
From 6:00-8:00 p.m., attendees can enjoy an intimate evening with acclaimed authors Ashleigh DuBois, Author of Yes, but I Still Have Joy, and Patricia McLinn, known for her Secret Sleuth series. Alongside small bites and drinks, guests will have the opportunity to engage with these authors in a relaxed setting. A cash bar will also be available. Tickets are $15, and registration is required.

FREE Children’s Program (March 1)
From 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., families can enjoy a morning filled with interactive storytelling and fun. The program features Author Storytime with Brittany Thurman and Gin Spaulding, a Puppet Show by River City Puppets, and an introduction to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, presented by the Boone County Public Library.
