Welcome to the City of Florence Public Services Department website. Our team is made up of 67 dedicated and skilled professionals whose mission is to enhance the quality of life in our community by serving others.
We take great pride in setting forth a vision of “Better Services, Better Community.” Simply put, this means we work to improve ourselves, processes, and service to you daily. It has become an initiative and way of life for our staff. A servant mentality is engrained in team members of this department, and this shared vision allows everyone to contribute to a greater good.
The Department is composed of nine divisions:

These divisions stand ready at every hour of every day to provide the essential services needed to support the high quality of life Florence residents, businesses, and visitors expect and deserve.
