Grounds Maintenance

The City of Florence Ground Maintenance Division maintains 194.2 acres of finish mowed grass and 172,550 square foot of landscape beds.

The Ground Maintenance Division is responsible for grass trimming, landscape maintenance, litter collection, hazardous tree removal, pesticide application, lake / pond management, the leaf collection program and managing the contracted portions for grass trimming and fertilization of City properties.

The Public Services Department receives funding from the City’s General Fund and Capital Improvement Fund.
